Pack your current read and join us by the lake for Pages & Picnics, a relaxed summer reading day created for book lovers of all kinds! ☀️📚
Bring a picnic blanket or chair, something to eat and drink, and whichever book is currently keeping you up past your bedtime. Spend the day reading in the sunshine, chatting about books, meeting fellow readers, or simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon near the water.
There’s no required reading, scheduled book discussion, or pressure to socialize the entire time. Whether you arrive with friends, come by yourself, read quietly for hours, or spend most of the day talking about your TBR, you’re welcome here.
This event is completely free and open to anyone who wants to join us. Bring your own picnic, settle into a comfortable spot, and spend a summer day surrounded by stories and good company.
What to bring
Your current read—or several options if you’re a mood reader
A picnic blanket, camping chair, or other comfortable seating
Food, snacks, and drinks for yourself
Water, sunscreen, and any other sun protection
Anything else that makes your perfect lake day more comfortable
Additional snacks or refreshments may be available, but guests should plan to bring everything they’ll personally need for the day.
