New year, new reads, new bookish memories! 📚✨
Join us for A Novel New Year Bookish Social, an evening designed to help readers connect, have fun, and begin 2027 with a surprise addition to their TBR.
Each guest will bring one wrapped book with a short, spoiler-free description written on the outside—just like a blind date with a book! During the event, we’ll swap them white elephant-style. Choose an unopened book based only on its clues or steal one that has already caught your attention. Things may get a little competitive, but that’s part of the fun!
By the end of the evening, everyone who participates will head home with a mystery book to kick off their new reading year.
Whether you arrive with friends or come ready to meet new ones, we can’t wait to spend an evening talking books, laughing together, and welcoming a brand-new year of reading.

Each person who would like to participate in the swap must bring one wrapped book. Because the exchange depends on having one book per participant, please update or cancel your RSVP if your plans change.
